Role:

As a Shop Technician Level II , you will play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and preparing Triumph Modular's rental fleet for our customers. This is a hands-on position focused primarily on work performed at our branch facility, including inspecting returned units, completing repairs and renovations, troubleshooting building systems, and preparing modular buildings for their next rental. As a Level II Technician, you are expected to work with greater independence and take on more complex repairs involving carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, flooring, doors, windows, and other building components. You will also assist with unit modifications, material planning, and quality inspections. Success in this role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, safe work practices, and a sense of ownership for ensuring every building leaving the yard meets Triumph Modular's standards for safety, quality, functionality, and appearance .

Core Functions and Responsibilities:

Mechanical Aptitude:

Perform Basic repairs (doors, windows, trim, minor electrical and plumbing) without supervision

Assembly Skills:

Basic carpentry or ability to assemble items such as furniture

Modular Structures:

Knowledge of trailer structures and how they are assembled

• Ancillary field installation items: Ability to install anchors, skirting, stairs independently on a customer job site.

Safety & Compliance:

Follow all Triumphs safety regulations and participate in Triumphs safety culture. Compliance on Medical Card, OSHA 10 certification, forklift certification and other certifications pertinent to the tasks being performed.

Modular Transport:

Repair and replace running gear for safe transport

Diagnostics & Repair:

Intermediate electrical and plumbing troubleshooting and repair

HVAC Maintenance:

Diagnose issues and perform preventative HVAC maintenance & Repairs

External Modular Setups:

In-depth understanding of materials and equipment needed, ability to create material lists by specific jobs (i.e. ship loose, mod walls). Loading of correct materials at the branch locations prior to buildings leaving is imperative.

Leadership:

Train and mentor Tier 1 technicians

Documentation:

Comply with Triumphs Work Order System for Unit make ready's, material request forms, and any apps relative to the tasks being performed

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of Travelers Insurance Driver Training Modules
• Successful completion of drug screening
• Successful completion of required background check
• 3-5 years of relevant/ related type work
• Excellent driving record
• Pass DOT Med card

Physical Requirement:

• Able to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Able to bend, twist, climb ladders, and get into awkward positions while maintaining equipment.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work in a high noise and dust level environment.

Certifications:

$26.00 - $28.00 per hour
