Job Description

Performs skilled major and minor repairs, rebuilds and overhauls, and upfitting on automotive equipment, trucks, and other light and heavy equipment. Research, coordinate, and provide recommendations for equipment replacement, pricing, and purchasing. Maintains Vehicle Replacement Recommendation (VRR) scores for all fleet equipment.
Minimum requirements include:
Two-year technical school heavy equipment mechanics program or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job; Five years mechanical experience with vehicles, both diesel and gas engines; small engines and heavy equipment; Knowledge of computer software systems and asset management systems. Possession of a valid Minnesota Class B Driver's License with tanker and air brake endorsements; •ASE certification, DOT certification and Class A license.
