Job Description

R.L. Larson Excavating Inc is looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude to fill our Heavy-Duty Mechanic position. You will be working on a variety of Heavy Equipment, diagnosing and repairing complex issues. R.L. Larson Excavating, Inc is a highly respected and successful excavating business that has been around for 35 years. We specialize in excavating sewer/water, and site grading.
Heavy Equipment Mechanic description:
The primary function of the position will be to diagnose and repair heavy equipment. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will repair, overhaul, and perform routine maintenance on equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders, etc. This individual must be flexible and open to possible overtime throughout the construction season. This is a full time, year-round position. Heavy Equipment Mechanic Qualifications Valid driver's license and CDL 3+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience Diagnose and repair machines according to requirements Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve in timely manner Work independently and as part of a team Ability to work long hours during Spring/Summer/Fall months Keep logs of work and report on issues Provide operators with the correct preventative measures for machine and vehicle maintenance

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
