Ellingson is hiring a Level II Field Mechanic to join their growing team. Ellingson is a stable, family values-based company that specializes in underground solutions throughout Southern Minnesota and the entire United States.

Ability to diagnose and operate equipment. Maintain proper record keeping, open work orders for all repairs, and distribute workload as needed.

Requirements:

Overnight travel will be required. Including some Weekends. Ability to work on both job sites and shop environments. Minimum of 5+ years related work experience on construction equipment. Ability to tear down and rebuild engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, differentials/gear boxes, and undercarriage components. Must be capable of leading shop function on any given day including but not limited to personnel, parts ordering, diagnosing, quoting repairs etc. Ability to repair all types of construction equipment. Valid Class A CDL required. DOT certification required. Must have own comprehensive set of tools to complete mechanical repairs. Knowledge to lead a large variety of repairs Must be familiar with diagnostic tools and troubleshooting. A full job description will be available upon request during the interview process.
