Temp (6 months with potential to extend) | Full-timeAbout the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring ORV Mechanics for an engineering and vehicle testing facility in Wyoming, MN. In this role, you'll support vehicle inventory reduction efforts through the inspection, repair, refurbishment, and processing of off-road vehicles, including ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles. If you enjoy hands-on mechanical work, solving problems, and working independently in a fast-paced shop environment, this could be a great fit. What You'll Do as a
ORV Mechanic:
Perform mechanical repairs, inspections, and refurbishment of off-road vehiclesDiagnose issues and replace major components, including engines, drivetrains, frames, and electrical systemsPrepare vehicles for sale through servicing, updates, and quality inspectionsProcess vehicles for scrap, including fluid draining, battery removal, and teardown activitiesMaintain accurate inventory records using desktop systems, tablets, and ExcelOperate forklifts and material handling equipment to move vehicles and componentsSupport inventory organization, facility operations, and track/trail maintenance What You Need to Bring to theORV Mechanic Role:
High school diploma or equivalent required3+ years of hands-on mechanic or technician experience in powersports, automotive, or heavy equipment environmentsStrong mechanical aptitude with diagnostic and major component repair experienceProficiency with computers and Microsoft ExcelValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to safely operate forklifts or willingness to become certifiedAbility to lift and work with heavy components in a shop environmentStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple prioritiesSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications:
