In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely maneuvering an excavator to facilitate excavation, material handling, and site development. Your mechanical expertise and construction site experience will be vital in ensuring efficient operations and maintaining safety standards across the job site. Responsibilities Operate excavators to perform earthmoving, lifting, and material transport tasks Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues and report any concerns promptly Collaborate with the construction team to execute site development activities efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance records, and operational reports for project documentation Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to uphold a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues Qualifications Proven 5 years of experience operating an excavator. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with site safety standards and operational procedures Mechanical knowledge related to machinery maintenance and troubleshooting Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in outdoor environments for extended periods Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
