The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely disassembling various mechanical and vehicle components, ensuring all parts are handled with care and precision. This role is essential for maintaining efficient operations in our dismantling process, requiring a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the use of various tools. Responsibilities Carefully dismantle vehicles or machinery using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment Identify and remove specific parts while ensuring no damage occurs to reusable components Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical systems and verify component functionality Follow safety protocols and procedures during disassembly to prevent accidents or injuries Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency Document parts removed and process items according to company standards Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues during disassembly when necessary Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters Experience with vehicle maintenance or similar mechanical work is preferred Ability to read technical manuals and schematics for accurate disassembly Good attention to detail to ensure parts are removed without damage Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety guidelines during all tasks
