Wilmington, Jacksonville, Greensboro, Charlotte & Raleigh, NC About the Opportunity Main Connection , an Authorized Contractor for Spectrum , is currently seeking dependable and motivated Coaxial & Fiber Technicians to join our growing team throughout North Carolina. As a technician with Main Connection, you will perform installation, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of coaxial and/or fiber-optic services. We're looking for individuals who take pride in their work, provide professional service, and are comfortable working independently in the field. We offer consistent work and strong earning potential , with technicians averaging approximately $1,000•2,500 per week , depending on experience, performance, workload, and production. Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair coaxial and/or fiber-optic services. Perform residential and applicable commercial field service work. Test connections and troubleshoot signal or connectivity issues. Properly use required hand tools, power tools, ladders, meters, and telecommunications equipment. Complete assigned jobs efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards. Maintain professional communication and customer service while on job sites. Accurately document completed installations, repairs, and service work. Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicle in a professional and organized manner. Follow applicable safety procedures and Spectrum contractor requirements. Requirements Must be able to pass a background check. Must have a clean driving record. Must be able to successfully pass a required drug screening. Must have your own reliable work vehicle suitable for field work. Must be dependable, professional, and able to work independently. Coaxial and/or fiber installation experience is preferred. Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions. Comfortable using ladders and performing physical field work. Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to learn and follow required installation and quality standards.
