Job Summary Are you ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic fast growing company? We are seeking dedicated and skilled forklift road mechanics to provide quality service on customer equipment.
MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 2 FULL-TIME YEARS AS A MECHANIC
in an automotive, heavy equipment, forklift or related industry. In this role, you will be responsible for performing mechanical troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance on various forklift and material handling equipment systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial mechanics and electrical systems, with the ability to read schematics and work with logic controllers. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on forklifts and material handling equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, fuel, and mechanical issues using field diagnostic equipment. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems effectively . Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and repair workflow. Input accurate records of service performed and parts used. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs. Final communication with customer and service team after repair completion. Qualifications Proven experience as an lift truck mechanic or similar role in industrial maintenance. Strong understanding of electric forklift drive systems, LP and Diesel control systems. Familiarity with diagnostic equipment is preferred. Ability to read electrical/hydraulic schematics and interpret technical manuals in English. Strong skills in welding, brake repairs, and hydraulics are a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
