In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and longevity of a wide range of construction machinery and industrial equipment. Your expertise in equipment lubrication, maintenance, and troubleshooting will help keep our projects running smoothly and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background and a passion for heavy machinery to contribute to large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. Duties Perform routine lubrication, oil changes, and fluid checks on construction equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders to ensure peak performance. Conduct inspections of heavy machinery to identify potential issues related to hydraulics, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical problems. Coordinate repairs with mechanics or service technicians as needed. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, oil levels, filter replacements, and equipment servicing schedules. Support equipment operation by ensuring all machinery is properly lubricated and ready for use; assist operators with minor adjustments or repairs when necessary. Use hand tools, power tools,, and other maintenance supplies to perform repairs on construction machinery. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Qualifications Must have CDL with HAZMAT drivers license Proven experience working with heavy construction equipment or industrial machinery is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, transmissions, HVAC systems, and tire service. Familiarity with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards and specifications for various brands like Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery. Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, forklifts, tractor-trailers, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Experience with equipment repair, tire service, and general maintenance is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service awareness when working alongside operators or clients. Must have good driving record.
