Roles & Responsibilities General Technician Salary:
Up to $3,500 + AWS + bonus
Location:
Pioneer (Company Transport Provided) Working Hours •
Day Shift:
7.30am - 5.00pm (Mon-Fri) •
Night Shift:
7.30pm - 5.00am (Mon-Fri) • Rotating shifts every 2 weeks •
Night Shift Allowance:

As a General Technician, you will work with cutting-edge equipment and hands-on repair processes that help restore and maintain critical gas turbine engine components used in aviation worldwide. This role offers valuable technical exposure, structured training, and long-term career growth in a highly specialised industry. Key Responsibilities Perform blending and polishing on metal and coated surfaces Carry out manual drilling for cooling hole re-opening processes Operate testing equipment such as airflow, waterflow, and moment weighing systems Operate specialised machinery including robotic polishers, shot peening, and cold spray equipment Requirements NITEC in Mechanical Engineering 2 years of experience using pneumatic and powered hand tools Able to work rotating shifts
