Full Job Description Overview:
Join our dynamic team as an Installation and Service Technician, where you will embark on a rewarding journey in medical equipment system repairs. This includes installing, maintaining and repairing medical equipment including stair lifts, platform lifts, ramps, and ceiling track systems. Must be a service professional dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and technical solutions. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a career in medical equipment technology.
Duties:
  • Install a variety of medical equipment following schematics and technical instructions.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical systems such as vertical platform lifts, stair lifts, and ceiling track solutions.
  • Interpreting schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools and equipment to job sites.
  • Participate in customer interactions by providing professional service support and explaining basic system functions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, repairs and maintenance logs.
Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of 12-24 volt electrical systems
  • Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in installing and servicing equipment
  • Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) practices
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude.
  • Construction experience or hands-on mechanical work is a plus
