This role includes routine maintenance such as oil changes and inspections, as well as troubleshooting and repairs. The Fleet Technician will travel to job sites as needed to service equipment and ensure fleet readiness. Key Responsibilities Travel to various job sites as required to perform repairs and maintenance Perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, fluid checks, filters, and basic inspections Diagnose and repair small engines (e.g., lawn equipment, generators, pumps, and similar machinery) Identify mechanical issues and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime Conduct preventative maintenance according to company schedules Maintain accurate service and repair records Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry standards Communicate equipment needs, parts requirements, and repair timelines to management Keep tools, service vehicles, and work areas clean and organized Qualifications Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed Experience in fleet maintenance and/or small engine repair Working knowledge of gas and diesel engines Ability to perform oil changes, basic diagnostics, and mechanical repairs Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Basic computer or mobile device skills for maintenance logs Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to bend, kneel, and work in various weather conditions Ability to work with hand and power tools safely Preferred Qualifications (Optional) Technical certification or vocational training in mechanics CDL (a plus, not required) Work Environment Combination of shop and field work Travel to job sites in a company vehicle as needed #
