Ohio Mulch Supply is searching for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our newest location on Round Bottom Road in Milford! Must be willing to learn to work on Loaders, Forklifts, Large Grinders, Large Screeners, Conveyor Belts and other equipment. Must have own tools. Responsibilities and Duties Inspect, lubricate, and service equipment. Check, fill, and/or change appropriate fluids for all equipment parts and check/change filters. Inspect, equipment support systems. Assist senior experienced technicians with repairs, maintenance assignments and adjustments. Perform routine housekeeping duties related tools, materials, shop and work areas. Perform required administrative duties when necessary, such as cycle counts, parts requisitions, warranties, etc. May assist in other areas of the maintenance shop as needed. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skills Good mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair. Experience with diesel powered vehicles preferred. Ability to safely drive equipment in and out of service area. General knowledge of equipment components and systems. Ability to work in all weather conditions. Must have own tools. Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location, department or line of business
