Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pallet Builder and Repairer, where you will play a vital role in creating, repairing, and maintaining sturdy, reliable pallets used across various industries. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with your hands, utilize woodworking and carpentry skills, and contribute to efficient supply chain operations. Duties Construct new pallets using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications. Inspect damaged or worn pallets to determine repair needs; disassemble broken pallets safely and efficiently. Repair or rebuild pallets by replacing broken boards, reassembling components, and reinforcing structures with metal fasteners or nails. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols such as power tool safety and proper handling of construction materials. Perform heavy lifting of wood construction materials and pallets regularly while following proper ergonomic practices. Requirements Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines required for pallet assembly and repair.
