We offer services like remanufactured transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials. Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Drivetrain Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding transmission systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with light, medium and heavy duty transmissions and related systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of trucks, in a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering top-tier automotive repair services. Duties Diagnose drivetrain issues using advanced automotive diagnostics tools and schematics. Repair or replace transmissions, including manual and some automatic types, ensuring proper alignment and functionality. Conduct mechanical repairs on powertrain components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently. Completely disassemble and rebuild units. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems accurately. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair procedures, estimated timelines, and maintenance recommendations clearly. Experience Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair techniques while maintaining high safety standards. Candidate must have one year experience with manual truck transmissions and differentials.
