For more information, please see our website. About the Opportunity We have an opportunity for a Mehanic Trainee to join our Centerra Langeloth team. This position is an onsite role based in Langeloth, PA. This role will perform preventative maintenance, assist with welding and pipefitting, operate tools and heavy equipment, and ensure safety compliance, often working in a physically demanding environment. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Repairs and replaces pipes, valves, fittings and other related equipment. Follows strict safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and uses proper protective equipment. Performs work area and equipment inspections. May prepare and maintain records and reports as required. Operates machinery, such as forklifts, cranes, and heavy equipment, and assists with facility cleaning. Assists in repairs and preparing work areas. Assists maintenance teams by performing manual labor. Successfully completes the requirements of the Mechanic Trainee Program. Performs related duties as required. Unload materials and parts from transportation vessels using appropriate equipment such as forklifts. Inspect incoming materials for quality and compliance with established procedure and specifications. Stays up to date on industry best practices and refresher trainings throughout the year of all SOP's and JSA's. Other duties as assigned. About You The following will be critical to successfully performing this role: High school diploma or GED. Trade school or technical school training preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Strong communication skills. Strong mechanical aptitude. Welding experience preferred.
