About Keystone Sports Construction Keystone Sports Construction is one of the largest athletic facility builders in the United States, specializing in the design and construction of high-performance sports venues for schools, universities, and municipalities. Our projects include synthetic turf fields, running tracks, tennis courts, hardwood gym flooring, sports lighting, facility amenities, and comprehensive maintenance services. Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, skilled Shop Mechanic to join our team. This position focuses on the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of trucks, heavy equipment, and small equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability. The ideal candidate is hardworking, mechanically inclined, safety-minded, and able to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs efficiently with minimal supervision. Your expertise will help keep our fleet operational and ready for demanding work environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics with a passion for heavy machinery, automotive systems, and hands-on fabrication to thrive in a fast-paced, safety-conscious setting. We prefer candidates with 3-5 years of experience; however, we welcome applications from highly skilled and qualified individuals with fewer years of experience who can demonstrate the knowledge and ability to succeed in this role. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks and heavy equipment Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections Troubleshoot engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and drivetrains Service and repair small equipment, power tools, and shop equipment Perform oil changes, brake repairs, and other routine mechanical services Identify equipment problems and determine the appropriate repairs Use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively Keep the shop, tools, and work areas clean and organized Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance Communicate repair needs and equipment issues with management Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer recommendations Qualifications Previous diesel mechanic or heavy equipment mechanic experience is a plus Experience working on diesel trucks and heavy equipment is a plus Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems preferred Ability to work on small engines, equipment, and power tools Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Welding/fabrication experience is a plus Valid driver's license preferred Ability to drive a flatbed trailer preferred Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work What We Offer Full-time, steady work Overtime opportunities Tools and equipment provided Health/Dental/Vision Insurance 401(k) Plan Fun Company Startup Culture in the sports industry Career Path with advancement opportunities
Compensation:
