• PRIMARY PURPOSE

• Responsible for evaluating damage and preparing repair estimates for heavy equipment and specialty vehicles involved in insurance claims. This role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with repair facilities to ensure accurate and timely claim resolution.

ESSENTIAL

FUNCTIONS and

RESPONSIBILITIES

• + Review photos, documentation, and other claim materials to assess damage.

+ Prepare detailed repair estimates using approved industry-standard software. + Evaluate repair vs. replace decisions and determine appropriate parts usage. + Assess whether vehicles are repairable or should be deemed salvage. + Collaborate with repair facilities to process supplements and update estimates. + Negotiate scope of repairs and pricing with repair facilities. •

• QUALIFICATIONS

• Education & Licensing
• High school diploma or GED required. Licenses as required.
• Experience
• Three (3) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include at least one (1) year of heavy equipment experience.
• Skills & Knowledge
• + Thorough knowledge of operating heavy equipment + Ability to understand and utilize appraisal software + Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills + PC literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products + Analytical and interpretive skills + Ability to work independently or in a team environment + Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
