Assistant Mechanic -
Golf Course Maintenance Location:
Hampton Hall Club, Bluffton, South Carolina Hampton Hall Club is seeking a mechanically inclined individual for a unique, full-time opportunity to learn and grow in the turf and golf course maintenance industry. This position offers hands-on experience in turf equipment repair combined with morning golf course maintenance three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
The following functions are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work performed. The omission of specific duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to the position. Assist the Head Mechanic with routine maintenance and repairs to turf equipment. Help do oil changes and lubrication on all equipment. Inspect equipment during daily serviced. When oil changes are done all other fluids and filter must be checked. Help Head Mechanic with trouble shooting electrical and mechanical issues. Pitch in on general golf course maintenance when needed. Keep shop and tools organized and clean. Help keep records on equipment. Help open up the shop in the morning.
Educational and Special Requirements:
High School diploma is preferred but not required. Ability to operate most turf equipment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to work on concrete. Have a positive attitude and be pleasant to work with. Pay range : $19.00 to $22.00 an hour depending on experience Overtime some months during the year
