Must keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and in working condition Notify supervisor and address potential safety hazards in a timely fashion Operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, and a variety of other equipment and instruments Assist other craft workers in doing their job functions Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to lay out areas where construction work will be performed Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, or compact and level earth using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes Helps mechanic perform maintenance and repairs such as tune-ups and oil changes, checks tire and brakes, replaces spark plugs and engages in other similar tasks Assists mechanic with electrical systems such as replacing batteries, starters, and lights Test drives vehicles to ensure repairs are completed property Cleans the shop and returns tools to proper location Maintains inventory of replacement parts and equipment Inspects tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order Updates maintenance and repair logs for vehicles Follow all Company policies and procedures and obtain certifications at Company/Client request, including but not limited to, BBP, Onsite Orientations, First Aid, CPR, Annual OSHA Training, PEC, H2S EversSons Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
