Your Piece of the Puzzle As NFM's Service Technician you are responsible for all repairs and maintenance of all machinery and mechanical equipment to include: order picking equipment, tow tractors, reach trucks, forklifts and forklift attachments, batteries, battery handling system, material handling carts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, floor scrubbers, compactors, recycling equipment, dock levelers, and automated conveyor equipment. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose, and repair machinery and mechanical equipment, while ensuring machinery and mechanical equipment is 100% operational and safe to be used in NFM facilities.Job Duties:

Attend OSHA required safety classes and specific training as mandated by NFM (i.e., Quality related classes, Service Plus, Back Education)Prepare:
Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Repair or replace defective parts to keep all machinery in good working orderTrack:
Utilize the computer-based asset management system to accurately record all work performed Make itFlawless:
Responsible for the overall condition of all the above equipment. Perform and log regularly scheduled preventive maintenance on all material handling equipmentQualifications:
Can You Check These Boxes? High school diploma or GED 2 years of experience with repair of Material Handling Equipment required Experience with "Crown" manufactured equipment preferred Attend relevant Manufacturer Training Modules for equipment currently in use Must have good working knowledge of electrical circuits, be able to work with wire diagrams, and be able to read and understand schematics Must be able to weld (wire or stick) and use a torch (oxygen or acetylene) to cut and braze. (preferred if work is on maintaining batteries) Knowledge of shop equipment, e.g. lathe, mill, drill, tire press, hand tools, power tools, etc. Ability to work night, weekend/ early morning hours based on business needs Valid driver's license and ongoing acceptable driving record Basic computer skills Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background checkBenefits:
