Responsibilities Perform detailed inspections, diagnostics, and repairs. Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to repair or modify parts as needed. Maintain accurate service records, complete inspection reports, and document all repairs performed to ensure compliance with safety standards. Assist with equipment assembly, installation, maintenance, and preventative servicing to maximize operational uptime. Support heavy lifting operations safely using appropriate lifting gear and techniques during repairs or component replacements. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring client satisfaction with service outcomes. Qualifications Proven experience working as a Service Technician or mechanic in a dealership or industrial setting with a focus on repair and maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery, farm equipment, industrial tools, and automotive systems. Skilled in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting hydraulic systems, suspensions, brakes, axles and trailer wiring. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, welding techniques (including soldering), and fabrication processes. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and tractors; relevant certifications are desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment for electrical and automotive systems. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
