McCourt Equipment is seeking a motivated and self-disciplined Shop Mechanic / Service Technician to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on crushing, screening, and conveying equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role is part of a collaborative team of mechanics committed to quality workmanship and safe operations.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Duties Perform basic diagnostics and assist with troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues. Complete routine maintenance and minor repairs under the direction of the Service Manager or Shop Foreman. Assist senior technicians with more complex repairs and rebuilds. Follow work orders and document service performed accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures and promote a safe work environment. Properly maintain tools and shop equipment. Participate in ongoing training and skill development. Skills 1-3 years of mechanical experience preferred (heavy equipment, diesel, automotive, or similar). Basic understanding of mechanical systems; hydraulic or electrical knowledge is a plus. Willingness to learn and grow within the company. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. High School Diploma or GED required. Ability to lift 20-50 lbs. Ability to bend, squat, twist, and stand for extended periods. Occasional Saturday availability may be required. Pay:
$19.00 - $29.00 per hour
