This role is essential in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of various heavy machinery, equipment, and trucks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair, diagnostics, and maintenance of heavy equipment, including excavators, truck tractors, and changing tires. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, and forklifts. Conduct repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, and alignment. Roadside Service Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for fabrication and assembly tasks. Execute tire service and brake repair to ensure safe operation of all machinery. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs. Assist in heavy lifting and operation of equipment as necessary during repairs. Skills Proven mechanic experience with a focus on heavy equipment operation and repair. . Strong mechanical knowledge including electrical experience for troubleshooting various systems. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for maintenance tasks.
