Installation Technician C Worldwide Equipment Sales | Illinois Build Specialized Equipment. Grow Your Skills. Advance Your Career. Worldwide Equipment Sales (WWE) is seeking a motivated Installation Technician C to join our Illinois team. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals looking to build a career working on industry-leading tow trucks, recovery equipment, transport trailers, and specialty vehicle systems. As an Installation Technician C, you'll work alongside experienced technicians while developing your skills in fabrication, hydraulics, electrical systems, equipment installation, and upfitting. What You'll Do Install tow truck bodies, recovery equipment, transport trailers, and related systems Install mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and structural components Perform equipment upfitting and customization tasks Complete assembly and basic fabrication assignments Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Maintain accurate records and documentation Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment What We're Looking For Required High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record At least 1 year of automotive, diesel, fabrication, equipment repair, or related mechanical experience Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools Must provide and maintain a basic set of hand tools Preferred Experience with tow trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, or commercial vehicles Welding or fabrication experience Compensation $22.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays and more!
