• Southern Field Maintenance, LLC is the leading forklift dealership in South Texas.

With the ability to make repairs on industrial diesel and LPG engines. The company was founded in 1984, located in Victoria, TX. SFM operates out of a ~20,000 square foot facility. The facility has 12 large bays to accommodate tractors/trailers, heavy equipment, forklifts, and aerial equipment. SFM also has a mobile service fleet for field repairs. A technician/mechanic at Southern Field Maintenance is responsible for:

• Maximizing time to effectively work on forklifts/heavy equipment, diesel and LPG engines
• Safely working and maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Communicating with Parts department for work order needs
• Effectively writing up work done on each job
• Must have own tools to efficiently do required work
• Take direction and communicate frequently with Service Manager Required skills and attributes:
• High energy with a desire to be quick and efficient
• Individual with versatility to work on all types of equipment
• Eagerness and ability to learn quickly on various types of equipment
• Experience working with diagnostic computers
• Willingness and ability to work overtime when needed
• Must have Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
• Will be required to work out of a service truck.
• Physically capable to lift overhead and work alone
• Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred skills and attributes:
• 5 year of mechanical experience working on heavy equipment/forklifts
• Ability to weld, MIG/Stick not required but a plus Compensation will be determined by experience level. Hired technicians/mechanics will also be offered full benefits, which includes:
