Full Job Description Job Title:

Generator Technician/Mechanic/Lead Compensation:

Starting $60.00/hr DOE (Depending on Experience) Employment type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30

PM & On Call Location:

Woodbridge, VA 22191 We are seeking an experienced Generator Mechanic to assist in all aspects of generator maintenance, troubleshooting, new installations, and repair work. The Generator Mechanic will represent a company that is dedicated to generator and electrical services. Regular attendance is essential in this frontline position. If you are a dedicated, hardworking individual with drive, professionalism and able to learn processes quickly this maybe the right position for you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete preventative maintenance (change oil, air filters, etc.) on generators Trouble shoot electrical problems on the site Travel to conduct service work, service truck provided Trouble shoot generator engine issues Fills out appropriate maintenance forms and prepares for following days operations. Assists with various maintenance actions as required by the

Site Manager Required Qualifications:

At least 5 years of generator mechanical experience Experience with single and 3 phase generator power Ability to work independently and in a small team environment Experience with diesel, NG, and LP High school diploma or equivalent required Proficiency in the use of shop tools required A valid driver's license is required with good driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

Generator Technician Certificate Vocational/Technical or certification preferred (i.e. Generac, Kohler, Briggs and Cummins) Any gas & diesel certificate is a bonus Must have your own hand tools
