Bushong Contracting Corporation We are an Excavation Company focused on working locally as much as possible. Based in Woodstock Va we are looking for someone in our area who has some experience in the construction industry and wants to work around and with heavy equipment. Common sense, familiarity with tools, vehicles, construction materials, and a willingness to work are common skills we are looking for. We try to focus on utilities so experience with and around pipe is a plus. Work starts every morning at the shop and ranges from driveway installs to full on site work. There will be plenty of opportunities to work with equipment along with advancement opportunities as well. General Requirements Standard Workweek Must have your own transportation to shop, company vehicles are used from there Must get along well with others and act in a professional manner at all times. Perform misc. job-related duties as assigned. Required to comply with all company safety requirements and procedures. All company positions require hand work and labor as needed. This job can require extensive physical activity, requiring strenuous physical work like heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling. Work can involve exposure to unusual elements, various weather conditions, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises Operate any equipment needed. Perform inspections on all operated equipment. Fuel and grease equipment each evening as well as check fluids and shovel dump beds/tracks when necessary. Bushong Contracting Corporation currently does snow removal in the winter. All employees are required to assist in this operation and it requires working odd shifts, nights and weekends. All personnel must maintain a valid driver's license. Failure to maintain a driver's license may result in termination from Bushong Contracting Corp. General Benefits Paid weekly Employees are paid to drive from shop to job-site 2 weeks paid time off. 1 week unpaid personal leave (These run from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31 and will reset annually.) Retirement plan with 100% employer match up to 3% of your pay Full uniform allowance shall be provided by Bushong Contracting Corp and worn daily by employee to include the following: Yearly profit sharing bonus based on position, tenure, and contribution all conditional to company performance.
