With over 25 years of experience, our growing trucking company is looking for experienced, motivated and dedicated diesel mechanic to join our team! We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule. Preferably 3+ years of relevant diesel mechanic experience to include dump truck & pup / side dump and other heavy equipment. Inspects equipment to assess need for maintenance and repair Replaces worn and damaged parts; disassembles equipment to check for issues and perform testing Reviews manufacturing guidelines and materials to ensure proper repairs Troubleshoots issues on various equipment including dump trucks, pup, side dumps, and various types of excavators Cleans, lubricates and performs other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles Informs shop management of status of repairs, future repair needs and other pertinent information Keeps accurate records of maintenance performed Manages maintenance schedules for all trucks and trailers Runs occasional errands to pick up parts as needed Adheres to all safety policies and standards

Requirements:

Experience and/or training in heavy equipment repair; diesel technology training/degree in lieu of experience Ability to handle physical demands of heavy equipment maintenance in an industrial environment Ability to follow instructions, work independently and contribute as a successful team member Valid driver license with acceptable driving record Post job offer, must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen Able to work overtime and Saturdays when needed Hourly rate range: $35-$45/ hour or DOE Pay is every week Company offers medical, dental, and vision benefits after 90 days of employment Paid vacation after one year of employment If interested, please apply online.
