We are currently seeking a Part-Time Hospital Bed Technician dedicated to a major hospital site. This role is ideal for a hands-on, mechanically inclined professional who values consistency, relationships, and being embedded within a single healthcare environment. What Makes This Role Different You will be stationed at one major hospital, becoming a trusted, consistent presence for nursing, EVS, transport, and facilities teams. You'll focus on delivering high-quality service within a single facility—helping maintain equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support patient care every day. What You'll Do Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on hospital beds and stretchers Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical components Complete preventive maintenance (PMs) in alignment with regulatory requirements Maintain accurate service documentation in our CMMS (Maintenance Connection) Ensure regulatory-compliant labeling and documentation Support hospital staff by responding to service calls in a timely, professional manner Identify recurring issues and communicate trends to leadership Maintain organized parts and tool inventory onsite Contribute to a culture of safety, professionalism, and excellence Train clinicians, transport, and EVS on proper use and transport of hospital beds and stretchers. What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude; electromechanical experience required Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems Comfort working in a hospital environment with occasional interaction with patients Professional communication skills and customer-focused mindset Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physically active tasks Experience with maintenance software (CMMS) preferred Background in healthcare, field service, military, or technical trades a plus Who Thrives in This Role Professionals who enjoy building strong relationships within one facility Individuals who take pride in owning their site and becoming the go-to expert Those who value stability while still being part of an elite service organization Why Emeritus?
