Field-Based Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Electronics & Appliance Packout Labor Technician to join our restoration team. This position involves responding to fire, flood, and other property loss events to inventory, assess, disconnect, pack, and transport electronics and appliances from residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate has experience with electronics, appliances, audio/video equipment, gaming systems, or related technology and is comfortable performing physical labor in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Inventory and document electronics, appliances, and household contents at loss sites. Disconnect and safely handle televisions, audio/video equipment, gaming systems, computers, appliances, and other electronic devices. Evaluate items for potential salvage, cleaning, restoration, or replacement after fire or water damage. Pack, box, wrap, move, and transport customer belongings according to company procedures. Use mobile applications and digital tools to document inventory and job progress. Work alongside crew members at residential and commercial properties. Follow safety procedures and maintain professionalism while interacting with customers. Qualifications Experience with electronics, appliances, audio/video systems, gaming equipment, or related technology preferred. Experience in moving, packing, warehousing, furniture handling, restoration, or general labor preferred. Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the day. Basic smartphone skills and ability to learn company mobile applications. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to work in homes and businesses affected by fire, water, or other property damage.
