Position Overview We are looking for a dedicated Appliance Repair Technician with strong communication skills and a positive attitude to join our team. This hourly position reports directly to the Appliance Supervisor and plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances, while also performing minor electrical tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering reliable, high-quality service. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves). Perform basic electrical work, including replacing switches, outlets, breakers, and ballasts. Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory usage. Follow safety protocols and comply with company and industry standards. Provide customers with maintenance tips to help extend the life of their appliances. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with appliance technology and repair techniques. Skills & Qualifications Strong communication skills—both verbal and written 2 years of experience diagnosing and repairing appliances Valid driver's license with a safe driving record Clean background and Drug free Ability to lift 80 pounds High school diploma or equivalent Fluency in English. Bilingual is a plus
