Duties Assist delivery drivers in transporting appliances safely to customer locations using company vehicles and proper lifting techniques. Support the installation process by setting up appliances according to schematics, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical requirements. Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other equipment to perform appliance hookups and troubleshoot issues on-site. Conduct basic appliance repairs or adjustments as needed, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical wiring, plumbing connections, and equipment troubleshooting. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during delivery and installation to protect yourself, team members, and customers. Communicate effectively with customers to explain appliance features and answer questions about operation or maintenance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, installations, repairs, and equipment used during each job. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair and installation processes. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for proper setup and troubleshooting. Proficiency with ladder use, hand tools, power tools, electrical work, plumbing connections, and refrigeration systems. Experience operating company vehicles safely in various environments as a delivery driver or helper. Knowledge of equipment troubleshooting techniques for appliances including refrigerators, washers/dryers, dishwashers, etc. Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) procedures related to appliances and related systems. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach to explaining technical details clearly.
