We welcome technicians with full-time or part-time availability who can independently diagnose and repair residential kitchen and laundry appliances.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Previous hands-on professional appliance repair experience is required. This opportunity is for a technician who can troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.

SERVICE AREA

The initial core area is Boise and Meridian, with Nampa appointments grouped by location and scheduled by agreement. We are looking for one local technician and will agree on a practical service radius based on where you are based and your availability. Part-time applicants are welcome to discuss specific days and a smaller route. Visits are to customers' homes; there is no daily office commute.

PAY AND WORK ARRANGEMENT

This is a proposed 1099 independent contractor opportunity with full-time or part-time availability. Technician compensation is 50% of customer payments received, after refunds and actual parts costs are deducted.

For example:

$350 collected minus $100 in parts, with no refund, leaves $250; the technician's share is $125. Compensation varies with completed, paid work. There is no guaranteed hourly wage, monthly income, or initial call volume. We will discuss availability, the service area, and the launch date before work begins. Customer service will begin after the required business setup is complete.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Diagnose and repair washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, and ranges within your qualifications.
• Use a multimeter, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer information to troubleshoot accurately.
• Identify required parts and explain repair options clearly to customers.
• Record diagnoses, parts, photos, and job updates in Housecall Pro.
• Communicate with our dispatch team and handle follow-up repairs professionally.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Professional experience repairing household appliances independently.
• Your own reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and appliance repair tools.
• A smartphone and the ability to maintain clear digital service records.
• Professional customer communication and reliable follow-through.
• Ability to travel within the agreed local service area.
• Appropriate certifications for any specialized work you perform; EPA Section 608 certification is required for work involving regulated refrigerants.

Sealed-system experience is a plus. AMS provides customer scheduling, dispatch coordination, and job management support.
