Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician and become a vital part of ensuring the seamless operation of our facilities and equipment. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to keep our environment safe, efficient, and comfortable. Your expertise in appliance repair, refrigeration, HVAC systems, and mechanical knowledge will drive operational excellence and support our commitment to quality service. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances, HVAC components, and mechanical systems with precision and adherence to safety standards. Conduct troubleshooting for complex mechanical issues, utilizing technical schematics and system diagnostics to identify root causes quickly. Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records for all repairs and inspections performed. Collaborate with team members to lead small projects or assist in construction-related tasks when necessary to support facility upgrades or expansions. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with strong appliance repair skills across various systems including HVAC/R, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment maintenance. Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams. Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices in commercial or industrial environments. Skilled in HVAC system repair including air conditioning units and air handling systems; familiarity with HVAC & appliance technology is essential. Ability to operate construction tools and company vehicles safely while adhering to safety protocols. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills for interacting with team members or clients when needed. Construction experience or background in building maintenance is a plus. Leadership qualities that enable you to take initiative in troubleshooting issues efficiently while guiding less experienced team members when appropriate.
