We are looking for a technician who can diagnose and complete repairs with minimal training while maintaining a high level of professionalism, communication, and customer service. Character, communication, and professionalism are a top priority, along with the ability to work independently in the field. Position Overview The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of appliance repair experience and a solid understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems. This role requires someone who can: Work independently Document findings clearly Maintain a clean, professional appearance Represent the company in high-end residential and commercial environments Requirements Minimum 3-5 years appliance repair experience Ability to diagnose basic appliances independently Familiar with common tools and multimeters Strong communication and customer service skills Professional appearance, hygiene, and work ethic Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision Comfortable in residential and commercial environments Valid driver's license preferred Comfortable using mobile dispatch/service software Preferred Experience Refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ice machines Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting Refrigeration systems (a plus) Experience with premium brands (Sub-Zero, Miele, Viking, Thermador, Bosch, etc.) is a plus Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential and commercial appliances Communicate professionally with customers onsite Document findings, diagnoses, and repairs accurately Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle, tools, and workspace Work independently while staying connected with office support Compensation (NYC Area) Entry-Level /
Part-Time Technician:
$18•20/hr starting pay Growth to $25/hr for technicians who can work independently
General Pay Ranges:
Apprentice /
Helper:
$18•24/hr
Experienced Technician:
$25•35/hr Senior /
Sealed System Experience:
