Responsibilities Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques. Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers utilizing hand tools and power tools. Install new appliances accurately following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Conduct maintenance tasks such as cleaning, adjusting components, and replacing parts to extend appliance lifespan. Use ladder equipment safely for accessing high or hard-to-reach areas during repairs or installations. Operate company vehicles including box trucks for delivery and service calls while adhering to all safety protocols. Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, provide maintenance tips, and ensure satisfaction with service outcomes. Experience Proven experience in appliance repair, installation, or field service roles with a strong mechanical background. Familiarity with electrical work, plumbing connections, refrigeration systems, and equipment troubleshooting. Skilled in reading schematics and ladder diagrams to diagnose complex issues accurately. Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment necessary for appliance repair and maintenance. Knowledge of MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) practices to ensure efficient service delivery. Previous delivery driver experience or familiarity with box trucks enhances logistical efficiency on service routes.
