Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in appliance repair, mechanical knowledge, and customer service. This role involves diagnosing and repairing various household appliances, ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of repairs and services performed. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair a wide range of household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot appliance issues effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs and maintenance. Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform equipment repairs and ensure appliances operate efficiently. Conduct field service visits to customers' homes for appliance installations and repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the company vehicle used for deliveries and service calls. Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and enhance customer satisfaction. Stay updated on the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques. Requirements Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics and technical documentation. Must be willing to submit to an 8 panel drug screening Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus, especially with box trucks. Familiarity with refrigeration systems and HVAC is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Ability to perform assembly tasks related to appliance installation. Electrical experience is beneficial for troubleshooting electrical components of appliances. Must possess a valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Driving Record.
