Duties Assist lead installers with the delivery, installation, and repair of household appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers. Unload and transport appliances safely using company vehicles and proper lifting techniques. Set up appliances according to manufacturer specifications, including connecting electrical, plumbing, and ventilation components when necessary. Use hand tools, power tools, schematics, and ladder systems to perform installations accurately and efficiently. Troubleshoot basic appliance issues by identifying mechanical or electrical problems and communicating findings to senior technicians. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly handling tools and disposing of packaging materials. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions professionally and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the installation process. Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair or maintenance preferred. Familiarity with schematics, ladder use, electrical work, plumbing, refrigeration systems, and equipment troubleshooting. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively; experience with hand tools is essential. Experience in appliance installation or repair is highly desirable; familiarity with MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) practices is a plus. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles or delivery trucks required; must adhere to safe driving practices. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics for proper installation procedures. Willingness to learn new skills related to electrical work, plumbing systems, refrigeration components, and equipment repair.
