Provided once trained and running calls independently About the Role Dash Appliance Repair, part of the iRepair family of home-service companies, is looking for a dependable, mechanically minded Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. We are open to applicants with previous appliance-repair experience, but experience is not required . In fact, we are very willing to train the right person from the ground up. We care more about finding someone who is dependable, coachable, good with customers, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn our systems and service standards than finding someone with years of experience doing things another company's way. During training, technicians are paid $17

• 20 per hour depending on experience .

Once fully trained and able to diagnose and complete service calls independently, technicians transition to a commission-based compensation structure with significantly greater earning potential . At that point, technicians are also issued a company service vehicle for work use . Technicians are responsible for the fuel used in their assigned vehicle. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair residential appliances Work on refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, ovens, and other common household appliances Communicate clearly with customers about findings and recommended repairs Provide professional estimates and explain repair options Order or identify needed parts using company systems and resources Document diagnoses, estimates, repairs, photos, and customer communication accurately Collect payment and complete required job documentation Maintain a clean and professional work area and service vehicle Follow company procedures for customer service, diagnosis, pricing, and repairs Continue developing technical skills through hands-on training and experience Recognize when a customer's needs may extend beyond appliance repair and connect them with our HVAC or plumbing divisions when appropriate Training & Career Growth We are willing to train someone who has the right attitude and aptitude. New technicians will work with experienced team members and learn: Appliance diagnosis and troubleshooting Electrical and mechanical testing Common appliance failure points Parts identification Repair procedures Customer communication Estimate presentation Company software and documentation How to manage service calls efficiently and professionally Once a technician demonstrates that they can safely and reliably handle calls independently, they will transition from hourly training pay to commission. Commission offers substantially greater earning potential for technicians who are efficient, skilled, and good with customers. Because Dash Appliance is part of a larger home-services family, technicians also have additional opportunities to earn through referrals to our HVAC and plumbing divisions. When an appliance customer has a larger HVAC or plumbing need, technicians may be eligible for referral bonuses when those opportunities result in qualifying sales. This creates additional earning potential beyond appliance repairs alone. Refrigeration Experience & Certifications Experience working on sealed refrigeration systems is a major plus but is not required . We would be especially interested in applicants who already have: EPA Section 608 certification or other applicable refrigerant certification Refrigerator or sealed-system repair experience Experience recovering, charging, or working with refrigerants Brazing experience Compressor or sealed-system replacement experience Applicants without these qualifications are still encouraged to apply. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is: Mechanically inclined Dependable and punctual Coachable and willing to learn Comfortable working independently once trained Good at troubleshooting and problem-solving Professional and personable with customers Comfortable using tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment Able to follow established company procedures Willing to learn the way our company approaches diagnosis, customer service, and repairs Organized enough to keep accurate job notes and documentation Motivated by performance-based earning potential Comfortable presenting repair options and additional services when appropriate Requirements Valid driver's license Acceptable driving record Reliable transportation to the office during training Ability to work full-time Ability to work on-site from our Murray office and travel to customer homes throughout the service area Ability to safely lift, move, and work around household appliances Comfortable entering customers' homes and working independently Basic mechanical aptitude Basic computer and smartphone skills Ability to communicate professionally with customers Willingness to learn and follow company procedures Preferred Qualifications Helpful but not required: Previous appliance-repair experience HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, automotive, maintenance, or trade experience EPA Section 608 certification Sealed-system or refrigeration experience Experience using electrical meters and diagnostic tools Customer-service or sales experience ServiceTitan or field-service software experience We encourage applicants from other mechanical or technical backgrounds to apply even if they have never repaired appliances professionally.

After Training:
