The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems and a passion for providing high-quality service. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Installer will work closely with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to safety standards and regulations. Duties Install HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and refrigeration systems. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to understand system layouts. Collaborate with team members to design effective HVAC solutions tailored to client needs. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs on HVAC equipment. Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations during installation and maintenance tasks. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system operations and maintenance needs. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role in the construction or property maintenance field. Strong understanding of HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration cycles, and air conditioning mechanics. Familiarity with field service operations and appliance repair techniques. Proficiency in using tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other mechanical instruments. Ability to work independently or as part of a team while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license is required; a clean driving record is preferred. Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Certification in HVAC/R is highly desirable but not mandatory.
