Job Description
We are a local, family owned business. We take pride in serving the wiregrass with top notch customer service while providing quality work. Our goal is to build a long lasting relationship with our customers and to have a great, friendly team who provides plumbing, drain cleaning, and pumping services to the community. We are seeking a full-time Plumbing Service Technician with a strong focus on Drain Cleaning. This position will cross-train as a Pump Truck Driver so we are ideally looking for someone who also has or is willing to obtain a Class B CDL for manual transmission with Tanker Endorsement. Monday through Friday with an on call weekend rotation schedule. Pay is negotiable depending on experience. No license or experience required. We offer on the job training for this position. A Plumbing Service Technician and Pump Truck Driver will be performing service work on plumbing systems in commercial and residential environments.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License and willing to obtain a CDL Class B License
- Ability to operate basic hand tools necessary for the craft
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a hard work ethic
- Professional appearance and personality
- Must be able to lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 50lbs on a frequent basis and 100lbs on an occasional basis; prolonged standing and frequent stooping, bending, and reaching on a daily basis
- Motivated to thrive in fast moving environments, and able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines
- Must be able to pass background check and drug test
Specific Responsibilities:
Install repair and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential environments Perform drain cleaning on plumbing systems Perform minor to complex service work on plumbing systems Ability to drive company truck responsibly Pump and maintain residential and commercial septic and grease traps Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, cleaned, and in good working order and conditionPay:
