Job Description

Experienced HVAC and Refrigeration Installer H&I Mechanical LLC is hiring an experienced HVAC and Refrigeration Installer to join our team in Huntsville, AL. We are seeking a dependable professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, works safely, and can complete commercial and/or residential installations with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Install HVAC and refrigeration systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, rooftop units, walk-in coolers, freezers, and related equipment. Read and follow blueprints, mechanical plans, manufacturer specifications, and job-site instructions. Install ductwork, refrigerant piping, drains, electrical connections, and equipment supports. Perform pressure testing, evacuation, charging, startup, and system commissioning. Troubleshoot installation issues and verify proper system operation. Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate progress supervisors, and other trades. Follow company procedures, building codes, EPA requirements, and OSHA safety standards. Maintain company tools, vehicles, equipment, and a clean work area. Qualifications [3-5]+ years of HVAC and refrigeration installation experience. Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, airflow, electrical controls, piping, brazing, and system startup. Ability to work independently and lead or assist other installers when needed. Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. EPA Section 608 certification required. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Basic hand tools required; specialty tools may be provided. Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in attics, mechanical rooms, rooftops, and varying weather conditions.
Pay:
$22.00 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
