Job Description

Lee Company is seeking an Experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic to install, assemble, and repair sheet metal ductwork and HVAC systems on commercial and industrial construction projects. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, fabricating and installing duct systems, measuring and cutting metal, operating power tools and shop equipment, and ensuring work meets safety, code, and quality standards. You'll collaborate with project teams, train apprentices, and help maintain a safe, clean jobsite. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications for sheet metal and HVAC installations. Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal ductwork and fittings to code and company standards. Measure, cut, and form metal using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Install supports, hangers, and insulation for duct systems on commercial and industrial projects. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair sheet metal systems and related HVAC components. Follow all safety policies, OSHA standards, and company procedures on jobsites. Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to complete projects on schedule. Train and mentor apprentices and helpers as needed. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area. Document work performed and communicate job progress to supervisors.
