Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning units. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and hands-on experience to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. Duties Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related components. Troubleshoot HVAC issues using schematics and diagnostic tools. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment. Perform equipment repairs, including refrigeration units and boilers. Collaborate with other technicians on complex projects and installations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Provide excellent customer service while addressing client concerns or questions. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R systems. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings. Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC installations. Experience in field service roles, demonstrating problem-solving skills in real-time situations. Ability to work with various tools, including ohmmeters for electrical testing. Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Welding skills for equipment repair may be beneficial. Experience in appliance repair and property maintenance is advantageous.
