This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise in HVAC system repair, installation, and maintenance while delivering exceptional service to clients. Your mechanical knowledge, electrical diagnostics skills, and hands-on experience will drive your success in ensuring optimal system performance and energy efficiency. We're looking for motivated professionals eager to troubleshoot complex systems, interpret schematics, and implement innovative solutions that keep environments comfortable and safe. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems. Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and perform electrical diagnostics to identify faults accurately. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and building automation system diagrams to execute precise installations or repairs. Conduct routine HVAC system maintenance to ensure peak performance and compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot equipment problems related to HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems efficiently and effectively. Perform plumbing tasks associated with HVAC systems when necessary, ensuring proper water flow and drainage. Utilize hand tools and mechanical systems repair techniques to complete tasks safely and efficiently while adhering to industry best practices. Provide excellent customer service by explaining system issues clearly and recommending appropriate solutions for ongoing comfort and efficiency. Experience Proven construction experience with a strong background in mechanical systems repair and HVAC system installation. Service technician experience working on commercial or residential HVAC units with a focus on troubleshooting and repairs. Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, building automation systems, electrical systems, and refrigeration components. Knowledge of HVAC design principles, including system sizing, airflow management, and energy efficiency strategies. Hands-on experience with plumbing related to HVAC applications is preferred. Ability to diagnose issues using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters or multimeters. Mechanical knowledge encompassing boiler operation, air conditioning systems, equipment troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling is required; additional certifications related to HVAC/R are advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
