In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial buildings (offices, retail spaces, warehouses, medical facilities, etc.). The ideal candidate is a reliable problem-solver with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, ductwork, and controls. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues on a wide variety of HVAC equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and seasonal tune-ups to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Respond to emergency service calls and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime for clients. Maintain accurate service records, paperwork, and inventory of parts. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including refrigerant handling (EPA Section 608). Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and clients in a professional manner. Uphold high standards of safety and cleanliness on every job site. Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with commercial HVAC systems (residential experience alone is not sufficient). EPA Universal Certification (Section 608) required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Journeyman HVAC license or equivalent state/county certification preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls (DDC/BMS), and refrigeration. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or at heights. Availability for on-call rotation and occasional overtime/weekend work. Preferred Skills Experience with building automation systems and energy management. Welding, brazing, and pipefitting skills. NATE certification or manufacturer-specific training. OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
