Job Description

Punch Press Operator (Fist Shift) Neutronic Stamping and Plating is looking for hard working individuals, with a strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. . We offer competitive wages depending on experience. Please do not apply if you do not have experience using press machines since this is a level 2 NOT an entry level. Thank you.
Overall Responsibilities:
Operates 30-60 ton stamping (hydraulic) punch press to bend, form, stretch, and straighten metal coil to form continuous high speed precision stamped metal product. All operators are expected to read and interpret blueprints, adhere to job specifications, and safety standards. Experience with Bruderer and Ing Yu Press' is a plus.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to operating machinery/presses
  • Ability to read blue prints
  • Ability to read Micrometer and calipers
  • Ability to enter data using Excel / Word
  • Strong shop math skills (Ability to Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide, and Understanding of Fractions)
  • 1-2 Years minimum Punch Press Experience (Required)
Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Configuring equipment and calibrating gauge settings
  • Recognize the condition of dies
  • Set up die according to specifications
  • Inspect and verify acceptability of parts
  • Report all non-conformance's to supervisor
  • Load material on various pay offs (Lo-Boy, Lazy Suzy, etc.)
  • Reel change
  • Visual inspections of product and raw material
  • Documentation of inspection results and production data.

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
