Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems across various client sites. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Skills Proven experience as an HVAC service technician working with commercial systems. Construction experience is highly desirable for understanding building layouts and installation requirements. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in HVAC design, system repair, installation, and maintenance. Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and building automation system diagrams accurately. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters; troubleshooting electrical systems effectively. Knowledge of refrigeration principles and equipment troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with plumbing components related to HVAC applications; experience with boilers and air conditioning units. Skilled in the use of hand tools and mechanical systems repair techniques for efficient service delivery. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicle safely. EPA certification is required for handling refrigerants; additional certifications in HVAC/R or electrical systems are a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Requirements & Responsibilities Minimum 4 years of HVAC experience Valid California driver's license with a good driving record Experience with commercial HVAC service and repairs Ability to read and understand diagrams, specifications, drawings, and blueprints Ability to identify and gather required materials for specific jobs Communicate professionally with customers and jobsite personnel Repair and upgrade existing environmental/HVAC systems Install ventilation systems Fabricate and install ductwork for air-conditioning equipment Maintain accurate written service records Work independently while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety How to Apply Please send your resume to metromechanical3728@gmail.com or call (408) 227-7276
